Terms & Conditions

You will receive all relevant information by email after booking, but here’s a quick run through our Terms & Conditions:

• Campervans must be picked up on the arranged pickup date between the hours of 09:00 - 12:00, or 15:00 - 18:00.
• Campervans must be dropped off on the arranged drop off date by 17:00.
• The named drivers will bring or email all required insurance documents. These will include two proofs of address (one of which must be a utility bill), both issued within 90 days of your hire date. You will also need an up to date driving license matching the postcode on your proofs of address and your NI number. Named drivers have to have been driving for over two years, and be between the ages of 23 and 75. If they have over six points on their license our insurance company needs to be contacted to authorise.
• The campervan and awnings are no smoking zones.
• Please don’t leave metal items on the work surfaces as they will get scratched.
• If the van or equipment are damaged during my getaway a proportionate amount of your £500 deposit will be retained to cover the repair/replacements.
• It is your responsibility to park the campervan legally and you will be responsible for any fines received during your getaway.
• It is your responsibility to drive within the speed limits and you will be responsible for any speeding fines received during your getaway.
• If keys are lost a proportionate amount of your deposit will be retained in order to cover the cost of unlocking the vans and replacing the key.
• You will be given a full demonstration of how to use all features of the van, will be given some instructional documentation to help you during your trip and will be required to sign the rental agreement to agree that you have been shown everything and are confident you can enjoy a safe getaway holiday.
• You will need to sign that you can use any additional equipment you have added onto your order safely and that you have read our Equipment Hire Disclaimer including our requirements for how you should use the equipment safely. You will also be shown, and sign that you can attach the equipment you have hired safely and securely to the roof rack.
• In the unlikely event that Campervan Getaways has to cancel your booking, you will be issued a full refund, and offered 1 free night on any future booking you choose to make with us.
• In the event that a customer cancels a booking, they will be issued a full refund if the cancellation is more that 8 weeks from their pick up date. If this cancellation is within 8 weeks from their pick up date, Campervan Getaways will retain their booking fee unless able to fill the dates with another customer's booking.
